Printing and Framing FAQ

What type of canvas do you use?

We use high-quality archival canvas. 350gsm Anasazi Canvas Premium Cotton Matte Canvas that includes an extra 70mm of materials for stretching.

What does "stretched" mean?

A stretched canvas is professionally stretched over a timber frame, ready to hang.  Our stretched canvas prints are completed by Art Services Group Canberra, ensuring a gallery-grade finish.

What is a floating frame?

A stretched canvas sits inside a slim timber frame with a small shadow gap between the artwork and the frame edges — creating a “floating” appearance. Floating frames come in a standard black, white or natural timber. A bespoke colour can be arranged for an additional cost.
